One of the leading Latin American pianists of our day, Mr. Chuquisengo was born in Lima, Peru and has been received enthusiastically by audiences and press alike in more than 20 countries. He has been strongly influenced in his musical development by the legendary conductor, Sergui Celibidache.

Juan Jose Chuquisengo was honored as a “Fellowship for the America’s” recipient by the Kennedy Center for the Perfroming Arts and is known not only for his command of the standard repertoire ut as a champion of many Latin American composers.
