Praised as a “marvellously harmonious duo” (Berliner Morgenpost), the Brillaner Duo performed at such celebrated halls as Carnegie Hall and the Berliner Philharmonie. Winners of the Geneva and the Melbourne International Competitions, clarinetist Shirley Brill and pianist Jonathan Aner have performed as soloists with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestras conducted by Zubin Mehta and collaborated with leading ensembles such as the Borromeo and the Jerusalem String Quartets. Recently the Duo served on the faculty at the Yellow Barn Festival’s Young Artists Program, and gave masterclasses in universities in Canada, Europe and Australia.
